Bhog 24313 Sri Akhand Path Sahibs and nagar Kirtan (March 2009)

With the Blessing of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji and Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji arranged for 24 Thousand 3 Hundred and 13 (24313) Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji's to be carried out at Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar Pehowa. The Sri Akhand Path Sahibs began on the 10th December 2007 and the Bhog took place on the 20th March 2009.

101 Sri Akhand Path Sahib's were carried out every 2 days and sangat alongside Sant Mahapuraks from all over the world joined Baba Ji for the bhog, which took place in continuous celebration of the 300th Gurta Gurgaddi celebrations. Once the Bhog took place a huge Nagar Kirtan was arranged from Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar Pehowa to Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar. A live telecast of the programme took place on a national level throughout India, in which hundreds of thousands witnessed the amazing celebrations.

As the Nagar Kirtan left Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar on the morning of the 20th March 2009, over half a million people marched through the villages of Haryana through to Amritsar Panjab, illustrating their love for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Jathedar Giaani Trilochan Singh Ji of Thakhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib Ji also paid tribute at the programme and congratulated Baba Ji for once again arranging such a large scale event.

The Nagar Kirtan stopped at several Gurdwara Sahibs throughout its entire journey, where various langars and camps were set up for the Sangat to eat and rest. Furthemore people of all villages the Nagar Kirtan passed through, had put up banners and welcome gates congratulating Baba Ji and the sangat on taking part in the large scale event which continued for 2 days.

The Nagar Kirtan which finally reached Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, was welcomed by Jathedar Giaani Gurbachan Singh Ji of Sri Akal Thakat Sahib, alongside various other Sampradas. An enormous langar was set up by Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji, which catered for the hundreds of thousands who had arrived. Again, similar to the Langar which took place in Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib Nanded, over 300 dishes were served including, Pizza, Noodles, Samosas, Pakoreh, Aloo Tikki, etc in addition to over 70 varieties of fruit.

Furthermore an enormous Darbar Sahib was set up, in which a Mahan Sant Smagam took place in form of a rehnsbhai kirtan. Being broadcast on live television throughout India Jathedar Giaani Gurbachan Singh Ji stated Baba Ji have been carrying out Sikhi Da Parchaar throughout the globe for decades now, however, he had never witnessed such a large scale programme and was amazed at the level of Sangat which had arrived with Baba Ji. Baba Ji was congratulated by the Jathedar Sahib and given a Siropa to illustrate the appreciation of further preaching Sikhism.

Baba Ji thanked the Jathedar Sahib for paying respects and also congratulated the Sangat for showing such love and devotion. Baba stated another Nagar Kirtan was already being planned which would take place from Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar Pehowa to Sachkhand Sri Damdama Sahib in Bathinda. However Baba Ji stated the entire programme was carried out solely with the blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
