With the blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji Pehowa Wale visited the UK in November 2010. Nationwide masses of sangat in the UK requested Baba Ji and the Jatha to visit in celebration of the Gurpurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Baba Ji was welcomed upon arrival by the UK sangat who were present in their hundreds waiting to greet Baba Ji and the Jatha with flowers. With a Mahan Kirtan Darbar arranged for a period of 10 days at Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar, the UK sangat long awaited Baba Ji’s arrival to commence the celebrations.

From the 26th November to the 5th December 2010 kirtan darbars were carried out each day in which hundreds regularly attended to listen and take part in the mahan kirtan darbar celebrations. Each day Baba Ji informed the sangat of the life and values of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and how such supreme values were to be followed and acted upon by Sikhs today. Baba Ji illustrated some of the amazing events which took place during the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and encouraged all those attending to fully uphold such moralistic values.

During the day Baba Ji and the Jatha were busy travelling regions of the UK, meeting sangat all over the nation. Day and night were spent preaching principles of the Sikh religion, with sangat from Newcastle through to Kent meeting Baba Ji and listening to the teachings given to us by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

After each kirtan darbar Baba Ji met the sangat and requested those who hadn’t already, to become baptised and join the Khalsa Panth. Several Gurdwara Sahibs had requested Baba Ji to carry out Kirtan in their areas, however due to the tight schedule not all demands by the Sikh sangat were able to be met.

However Baba Ji promised they would visit again the following year and try their utmost to meet those who hadn’t been able to attend Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar. It was clear Baba Ji had won the hearts of the masses who attended and thus all the sangat presented Baba Ji with a siropa and thanked Baba Ji for visiting. Baba Ji stated the trip was only successful due to the blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
