With the Blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Jathedars of the Sikh Holy Thakats visited Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar (UK), situated in West Bromwich, Birmingham during May 2011.

Having been invited by the nationwide sangat, Singh Sahib Gianni Gurbachan Singh Ji Jathedar of Sri Akal Thakat, Singh Sahib Giani Iqbal Singh Ji Jathedar of Sri Patna Sahib, Singh Sahib Gianni Trilochan Singh Ji Jathedar of Sri Kesgarh Sahib and Singh Sahib Gianni Jaswinder Singh Ji Head Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib all arrived at Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar (UK) on the evening of Monday 16th May 2011

Hundreds of members of sangat nationally had also arrived at Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar to welcome the Singh Sahiban to the Gurdwara Sahib. Upon arrival the Jathedars were greeted by hundreds shedding flowers upon their vehicles and giving flower garlands to them personally.

To the hundreds it was equal to the Holy Pope of Sikhism arriving at their local Gurdwara Sahib offering an opportunity to listen. For those who couldn’t always travel to India this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and therefore utmost respect, honour, dignity and love was shown towards the Singh Sahiban.

In addressing the loving members of sangat, all Jathedars congratulated Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji Pehowa Wale and the sangat for opening the Gurdwara Sahib within the UK. They further went on to say that it was an honour to know that Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji had led to the opening an operating of a Gurdwara Sahib in the UK, free from politics, solely to preach the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

Singh Sahib Gianni Gurbachan Singh Ji Jathedar of Sri Akal Thakat Sahib, stated the sewa being carried out by Sant Baba Mann Singh and Sant Baba Mohan Singh throughout the world in not only preaching Sikhism, but organising mass nagar kirtans, setting up huge scale langars and simply bringing those distant from Sikhism back into the Sikh fold was unparalleled and a major contribution to the Khalsa Panth.

All Jathedars thanked the sangat for inviting them and encouraged all to full heartedly respect Sant Mahapuraks as it was due to such blessed souls that Sikhism continues to flourish worldwide. As the sangat of Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar came together to present the Jathedars with a siropa, each promised to visit again in the coming future. An ardas was carried out thanking Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji for allowing the visit by the Jathedars to be such a success.
